__________
Today is my tanjobi (birthday) so I thought I'd write something baka (stupid) and fun about it... So please don't take this post too seriously, and especially don't psychoanalyze me! To save you the effort, anyone who has trained in karate for a few decades must be crazy! In addition to my B-Day, today I am 'nurse Andre' taking care of Mizuho, who has a 39.4 degrees fever from a nasty cold. Anyway... Because today is my birthday, please excuse this unusual post. My priority is to take care of my bedridden wife and be a comedian to make her feel genki.
________
'Sharing' birthdays
The most internationally famous person I share my birthday with, is Alexander the Great, who was born on July 20th, 356BC (the same year I was born). For more on Alex click here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_the_Great. Insofar as famous New Zealander's are concerned, the most famous kiwi I share my birthday with is Sir Edmund Hillary, who was born on July 20th, 1919. For those of you who don't know, Hillary was the first man to conquer Mt. Everest, which at 8,848 metres (29,029 feet) is the highest mountain on Planet Earth. The 'Dragon' who died on my birthday
Interestingly enough Bruce Lee literally died 'on my birthday' in 1973. Sorry Bruce! Whilst not being a fan of martial arts movies, especially Bruce Lee, and his sound effects "Wooooooooaaaaahhhh", I think it is fair to say, that as a result of cinematography, he is probably the most famous 'martial artist' of all time. Yes, in case you are wondering, I am actually a reincarnation of Bruce Lee.
___________
The most famous world event on my birthday (The 40th anniversary being today).
On July 20th, 1969, Apollo 11 successfully landed the first man on the Moon! So yes, I'm a 'space boy as well! "Hello Space Boy!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Le6LVz2Vt8

By now you can really see I am 'Nurse Andre', and are particu
larly bored. Regardless, as a professional karate man, I still managed to practice Tekki-shodan, Hangetsu, Senka, Raiko and the very tricky Yokotawaru-tatsu kata today, which I'm still completely perplexed by.
