The meaning of this Japanese 'kotowaza': You cannot do anything without taking a risk; that is, "Nothing ventured, nothing gained".
This proverb from Asai Tetsuhiko Sensei, directed my life direction, and with his guidance and support allowed me to become a professional karate instructor here in Japan.
Everyday training continues in hope of being 10% as good as Asai Sensei. Irrespective of whether I can achieve that goal or not, I'm striving every day of each year to achieve it.
In all my personal times with Sensei I simply tried to catch as much 'magic dust' as possible.
Again, what matters is TRAINING!!! Positive energy to everyone from IKS JAPAN. OSU!!!
