Training with Paul Kallender-Umezu

January 7th, 2025.

 My dear friend Paul Kallender-Umezu (Shodan) came to visit with his lovely family. While here, did a renshusei training here at the dojo. 

While I won't go into Paul's specialized field, he has a PhD from Keio University, is a professional journalist, and a world-class academic author. So, rather than write about the training (with my amateur writing skills), I will allow him to articulate his experience here in the dojo. 

Nevertheless, at present (and as always), he is extremely busy with his work. That being said, in the not-too-distant future, he said he will send me a written report: on the training he received here in the dojo. 

Of course, I'll post that on here! So, you can all look forward to that.
